WORDS HAVE POWER

“May your choices reflect your hopes, not your fears.” Nelson Mandela

“Life is better when you think about how your actions will affect others instead of how your actions will affect you.” Luke Watson

“A life is not important except in the impact is has on others.” Jackie Robinson

“If you cannot do great things, do small things in a great way.” Napoleon Hill

ACTIVITY UPDATE

We are so excited to announce that tomorrow 39 partnering child care providers will receive over 2,700 books! Thanks to our generous supporters and our First Book Marketplace member perks, we were able to donate over $43,000 worth of books! This means 2,700 children will be taking home their very own Disney Storybook Collection, containing 20 classic stories. These over-sized, hard-cover books can be read again and again to build story-time traditions and a culture of literacy amongst families living in poverty in NYC. If you are interested in helping 1,000 more kids receive brand new books in time for the holiday season, DONATE today!
